With Opposition Leader Sussan Ley and other senior members of the Coalition, I met with members of the congregation of the East Melbourne Hebrew Synagogue which was the subject of the vile antisemitic arson attack last Friday night.
It was incredibly moving to hear their concerns and fears, including for their children who are going to schools with armed guards.
There must be more action. Following the summit into antisemitism held in Sydney earlier in the year, the ECAJ called for both the Government and Opposition to implement a 15 point action plan. The Opposition supports it. The Government must act.
