This afternoon, I was honoured to accept an invitation from the Queensland Chapter of the Vietnamese Community in Australia to attend Vietnam National Mourning Day 2025. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon – a solemn time for the community to remember those who sacrificed their lives for freedom and democracy, including Vietnamese and allied soldiers.
