It was an honour to attend the unveiling of a plaque to those National Servicemen from the 1965 to 1972 intake who died in service within Australia. The memorial is located at the National Servicemen’s Precinct. The official unveiling was done by ithe Governor of Queensland, Dr Jeanette Young AC PSM. We owe a deep debt of gratitude to those who served our nation through National Service.
