It was great to catch up with members of the wonderful Townsville Indian community over the weekend with good friend Phil Thompson MP.
Congratulations to everyone involved in India Fest – a huge Indian festival in Townsville that attracts tens of thousands of attendees. It won the Best Event category in the Queensland Day awards!
I was pleased to have the opportunity to speak to Nick Attam, Secretary of India Fest to convey my personal congratulations.
