Thank you to the Syrian Christian community for inviting me to their event tonight where all the different communities come together prior to Easter. It is a very very difficult time for our Syrian community with the ongoing persecution of minority groups in Syria and horrendous acts of violence against innocent civilians. I am doing my best to make sure their voices are heard in Canberra.
