It was fantastic to head back to school a little early last week, joining Westside Community Care’s Annual Back to School Day—an incredible initiative that provides much-needed school supplies to families facing financial hardship.
With the ongoing cost of living crisis, many families are feeling the pressure of purchasing essential school items for their children. Thanks to the generosity and dedication of Westside Community Care, parents and caregivers had the opportunity to access school bags, stationery, uniforms, and other vital supplies to ensure their kids start the school year prepared and confident.
A huge thank you to my friends at the Rotary Club of Greater Springfield for their ongoing support in making this initiative such a success. The difference this event makes in the lives of local families cannot be understated—it’s about giving every child the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
