In making the appointment, the Leader of the Opposition recognised that: “Paul has a deep commitment to community service and has worked closely with many multicultural organisations during his time as Senator, and he understands the needs and aspirations of our vibrant and diverse multicultural communities. He will work closely with Jason Wood MP to ensure our multicultural communities continue to have their voices heard within the Federal Coalition.”
Senator Scarr said, “I would like to thank all of the members of our multicultural communities I have worked with since being elected in 2019. I have been so inspired by everything that you do to support the community. I look forward to engaging with you in this new role.”
