Yesterday, I attended the opening ceremony of a special exhibition hosted by the Vietnamese Community in Australia – Victoria Chapter, marking the 70th Anniversary of the Republic of Vietnam and commemorating veterans of the Republic of Vietnam.
It was time to reflect on 50 years of settlement of our wonderful Vietnamese Australian community.
As always, the Vietnamese Australian community honoured Australians who fought in Vietnam alongside the veterans of the Republic of Vietnam. It was a very moving event.
The exhibition contains a fascinating collection of artefacts, photographs and story telling. Well worth a visit!
