Following the catastrophic floods in in Nepal and Tibet, the Nepalese Association of Queensland held a candle light vigil in King George Square Brisbane last night.
It was attended by hundreds of people from the Nepalese Australian community and the wider community who came out to demonstrate their solidarity.
There are still thousands of missing, including members of the Australian community. Speaking to members of the community last night, the grief and concern for loved ones is heartbreaking.
Our Nepalese Australian community contributes so much to our beautiful country.
Now is the time for all of us to provide our support and solidarity to the community and to everyone else in Australia impacted by this tragedy.
