I was pleased to meet with His Excellency Antonio Morales, Philippine Ambassador to Australia, during a courtesy call at Parliament House. We discussed the strength of the Philippines–Australia relationship, including our long‑standing people‑to‑people ties and the significance of 80 years of bilateral relations this year. I appreciated the opportunity to engage with the Ambassador and members of his team and to reaffirm the importance of our strategic partnership and ongoing cooperation between our two countries.
