It was great to join the inaugural Mango Mela Multicultural Festival over the weekend.
The festival featured fresh Pakistani mangoes imported directly from Pakistan, giving Queenslanders the opportunity to enjoy one of Pakistan’s most iconic and popular exports.
What makes Mango Mela so unique is that Pakistan’s mango season falls during Australia’s off-season, allowing local communities to enjoy fresh mangoes in the middle of winter.
