It was great to catch up with the organisers of the upcoming Mango Mela which is taking place on Sunday, 19 July at the ICB.
The festival will feature fresh Pakistani mangoes imported directly from Pakistan, with around 2,500 boxes available for the community to enjoy.
What makes this event so unique is that Pakistan’s mango season falls during Australia’s off-season.
That means Queenslanders can enjoy delicious mangoes in the middle of winter, while Australian mangoes are exported to Pakistan during their off-season later in the year!
