Congratulations to all those recognized in The King’s Birthday 2025 Honours List which was announced by the Her Excellency the Governor-General of Australia overnight. The honours list includes people recommended to the Governor-General by the Council of the Order of Australia and organizations responsible for recommending meritorious, gallantry, distinguished and conspicuous honours. I’m pleased to say there were a large number of recipients this year from Queensland. In fact, 114 Queenslanders were recognized. Today is a time to reflect on the achievements of the many extraordinary Queenslanders. Congratulations and Well Done!
