Senator Hume knows superannuation having previously worked as a senior policy adviser at AustralianSuper, National Australia Bank, Rothschild and Deutsche Bank.
Senator for Victoria since 2016, representing the Liberal Party. She has been Minister for Superannuation, Financial Services and the Digital Economy. Sen Hume was recently appointed Minister for Women’s Economic Security.
Senator Scarr he’s passionate about Ipswich and the region and showcasing all it has to offer to Government Ministers.
“I want Ministers on the ground in this region to see what’s going on and to hear from locals what they need and expect from the Morrison Government,” Senator Scarr said.
“Minister Hume’s visit follows on from the Deputy Prime Minister’s visit early this year.”
