I love a local success story! This morning, I had the immense privilege of attending the Wounded Heroes Australia – Veterans Centre IpswichFood4Heroes Graduation.
Participants learn all aspects of meal preparation, and prepare a volume of meals which are then supplied to veterans within the wider community who are in need.
It was an opportunity to also congratulate Wounded Heroes for taking out the Community Group of the Year Award at the recent Ipswich City Council Australia Day Awards and their President – Martin Shaw who became the 2025 Citizen of the Year.
