It was a privilege to attend yesterday’s launch of important new research by the University of Canberra and SBS, exploring belonging and media representation among multilingual Australians. As Co-Chair of the Parliamentary Friends of SBS, I was proud to support this initiative, which shines a light on how media can shape feelings of connection, inclusion, and civic participation in our diverse communities.
