This morning at Parliament House in Canberra, I signed the Condolence Book to pay my respects to the victims of the Bondi Terror Attack, a solemn reminder of the profound loss felt across the country and of the courage shown by first responders, medical teams, and community members in the face of unimaginable horror. Tomorrow, our nation will pause to honour the victims, and stand with the families, friends, and communities whose lives have been forever changed. Across Queensland, communities will join in remembrance. Government buildings will be illuminated in white, flags flown at half mast, and the 15 Pillars of Light will shine in Brisbane, on the Gold Coast, and across Australia as symbols of unity and hope. Queenslanders are invited to observe one minute of silence at 6.01pm tomorrow evening, and to take part in simple acts of kindness, sharing a meal, lighting a candle, or reaching out to someone in need.
