My sincere thanks to CEO of Community Hubs Australia, Bec Kotow who met with me in Melbourne earlier this week. Community Hubs build social cohesion in Australia. They are welcoming places where families from diverse backgrounds, particularly mothers with pre-school children, come to connect, share and learn. Community Hubs are now embedded in many primary schools and connect families from diverse cultural backgrounds with the wider community. They also connect women and their young children with each other and their school through a variety of activities and with organizations that can provide health, education and settlement support.
