Today I participated in the 5th National Whistleblowing Symposium in Sydney in my role as Co-Chair of the Parliamentary Friends of Whistleblowers.
Whistleblowers play a vital role in exposing wrongdoing and bringing matters to light in the public interest. In many cases this comes at great personal cost.
Reforms are needed to enhance protections for whistleblowers and to ensure that they have the support they deserve.
