Following the commemoration this morning, a further commemoration was held in Freedom Place Inala to remember and reflect on the Fall of
Saigon on 30 April 1975.
Notwithstanding the rain, there was strong attendance from our wonderful Vietnamese Queensland community, veterans (Australian and Republic of Vietnam) and community representatives.
Thank you to President of the Vietnamese Community in Australia – Queensland Chapter, Ms Kieu Oanh Do, and all of the volunteers for hosting such a moving event.
