Congratulations to Rugby League Samoa Queensland for hosting a wonderful rugby league tournament over the weekend. The carnival has grown over the last 14 years from just 40 players to nearly 700! The participants celebrate Australia and the Samoan culture through their cultural presentations. It is especially moving to see all of the young children participate. Events like this are so important for our young people. As one of the pastors said at the event – it brings families together and uses sport as vehicle to inspire the youth. Thanks to President Matt TuiSamoa and his team for bringing this great event together.
