Today we gathered at Kangaroo Point to mark the 13th Anniversary of the Vietnamese Boat People Memorial. This solemn ceremony honoured those who lost their lives seeking freedom and celebrated the resilience and contributions of Vietnamese Australians to Queensland and our nation. Thank you to the Vietnamese Community in Australia – Queensland Chapter, President Kieu Oanh Do, and all involved for organising this important day of remembrance.
